Challenges
The Principal Engineers faced many challenges when working on the consultancy and quantification of the geometric design of the Upgrading of Caracol Road Project, with a total of Thirty-Three kilometers of road, made up of the sections:
-Lot 1B: Georgeville – Tripartite Junction (12,075 km).
-Lot 1A: Section Santa Elena – Tripartite Junction (14,075 km).
-Lot 1C: Blancaneaux Lodge – Pinol Line (7.25 km).
This project was a great challenge due to the irregularity of the terrain, the orogeny, the climate, the region’s communities, and the additional infrastructure required, made up of bridges, accesses, culverts, sidewalks, and bus bay that guaranteed development and urbanization to the communities.

Planning
T&R’s
Our engineer ensured that each redesign and quantification she participated in complied with current international standards.
During the execution of the project, the company undertook daily field/site supervision of all works and construction activities. This includes all construction on site, from the most significant structures, such as Bridges, to minor structural checks, such as thrust blocks for water installation.
These challenges and their engineering counterparts were consulted with the consultant and main contractor and carried out effectively.
