Architecture is the art and technique of designing and building, distinguished from the skills associated with construction. The practice of architecture is employed to fulfill both practical and expressive requirements, and thus it serves both utilitarian and aesthetic ends.
Architectural Master Planning is critical to successful site and building designs. It requires insight, creativity, and experience from an excellent Architectural Team. A successful Master Plan considers the many aspects of existing conditions, such as neighborhood, community, environment, and context, and responds to those complexities in a sophisticated design. It must consider past, present, and future as well as practical, functional, and economic realities.
Cost implies the economics of land, labor, and materials that must be adjusted to suit a particular site and its building. Finally, it must communicate the design response clearly to all stakeholders. It’s not easy! But at T&R, we have a systematic process for delivering excellent Master Plans!
